Who are we?
Exem is a key player in the environmental debate surrounding electromagnetic fields. As an accredited testing laboratory, we support our customers in dealing with electromagnetic field exposure in public spaces, homes and workplaces, by carrying out audits and control measurements.
Our expertise covers the control of digital infrastructures, as well as production, transport, distribution and energy infrastructures. To meet the growing demand for electromagnetic field measurements, we’re looking for new talent to travel the length and breadth of France to meet our customers (both public and private).
Measurement technician
Your missions
You will be responsible for measuring electromagnetic fields in various environments. In practical terms, this involves the following steps:
- You will assess the relevant “hot” points for carrying out the measurement
- You will take measurements using our equipment (spectrum analyser in particular)
- You will retrieve the data and incorporate it into a measurement report
To carry out these tasks, you will be travelling from Monday to Friday throughout your region. The planning department will be in almost constant contact with you to help you with the logistics of your assignments.
First of all, of course, we’re going to train you and support you. At first you will be working in pairs, then on your own to help you develop your skills.

Your profile
Your background and experience will enable you to manage the following elements:
- Electromagnetic fields and metrology
- Measurement techniques
- Techniques for using measurement equipment (spectrum analyser, network analyser, oscilloscope, etc.)
In terms of interpersonal skills, we expect you to be flexible and adaptable, with a sense of responsibility, autonomy, thoroughness and good interpersonal skills.
